It was Saturday night when the door bell rang.Ian and I ran down the stairs and into the kitchen to see my father standing in the kitchen smiling and saying surprise... I got this scared/panicy look on my face because my house was in a big mess and I expected my mother to be right behind him. But to me releif she was at the hospitle with my aunt Sharon. It was around 9:00 PM when I decided that I would like to go down to visit them for a couple of days... I came home Monday night after supper with $30 in my pocket from babysitting my nease Megan...

While at the cabin, I saw some wooden lawn chairs in front to sit and look out at the apple orchard... And in one of the chairs was a rose bush starting to grow up through the chair...

This is the room that my father built for me when I was born, I had this room through my whole child hood...and now Megan uses it, when she stays the night at my parents house...

myoldroom.jpg

This room was origonally built for my brother, but after he moved out, my older sister Amanda took it over, then when she moved out... I was old enough to take it over... So, this is the room that I had before I moved out...

On this day, it was just way to hot out for even the pigs to want to do anything. Maybe the cement that they are laying on is cool enough to give them some releif from the hot day.
